Vick Naresh (b. Bombay (Mumbai), India) is a visual artist based in Hamilton, Canada. In his work, he encapsulates a sense of fragile beauty with narratives that traverse landscapes of contemporary culture and personal experiences, with a particular emphasis on themes of displacement, belonging, and identity.

Naresh’s aesthetic is a multi-layered fusion of techniques, combining biomorphic complexities, geometric structures, and the manifestation of imagined environments through his distinctive use of vibrant colour. The shapes and structures in his work are derived from a wide variety of inspirations and art historical references but also dwell within the realms of spiritual and scientific acknowledgements. His creations serve as multifaceted portals to moments of contemplation within an ethereal universe, grappling with the intangible as they invite the viewer to unravel mysteries from time rediscovered.

His recent solo shows include “Fragility in Beauty” with CAMP Gallery, Miami (2024), "You Are Many Moves" at the Dundas Valley School of Art (2023) and "Sequence of Events" at The Assembly Gallery (2023). His work was also recently included in the 2023 Summer Salon at Dianna Witte Gallery, Toronto (2023). Previously, his work has been included in group shows at 19 Karen Gallery, Brisbane, Australia (2022); The Hamilton Artist's Inc. (2022); Art Gallery of Hamilton (2022); and Paul Elia Gallery (2023). In 2022, he was awarded a six-month art residency at the Hamilton Arts Council Studio within the Cotton Factory in Hamilton, Canada. In addition, Vick was a shortlisted nominee for the 2023 Hamilton Arts Award by the City of Hamilton.

His paintings are held in private collections in Canada, USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and have been featured in local and international media broadcasts such as The Saatchi Art Catalogue, House & Garden UK, House & Home Canada, Toronto Star, and The Hamilton Spectator.
